Kish Island was ranked among the world’s 10 most beautiful islands and it is the fourth most visited vacation destination in the Middle East, and third most-visited vacation destination in Southwest Asia. Kish Island is the home to the greatest Coral reef in the Persian Gulf. Like the other Persian Gulf Islands, especially the islands in the Strait of Hormuz, knish is located on a narrow strip of tropical vegetation in the Northern Hemisphere. It is known for being a beautiful resort in the Middle East and the Persian Gulf.

The resort water-sports make a pleasant diversion, visiting the ancient sights is a unique opportunity, and cycling around the island on the coastal bike path is a fun experience. Kish Island has relaxed laws in comparison to the rest of Iran. Like mainland Iran, the people of Kish are friendly and hospitable. Kish’s population includes significant numbers of both Muslims and Christians.

With about 26,000 residents, the island attracts nearly 1 million visitors each year. Tourists from many (but not all) foreign nations wishing to enter Kish Free Zone from legal ports are not required to obtain any visa prior to travel. For those travelers, upon-arrival travel permits are stamped valid for 14 days by Kish officials. Kish is a trade free zone, making it the perfect place for profitable shopping and trading. The price of goods in Kish are notably cheaper than in mainland Iran.

Kish Island has a range of nice villas, hotels, and guest houses for tourists. Though Kish is a small island, it has numerous tourist attractions. Kish was known for the quality of its pearls. Snorkeling on the beaches of Kish Island is said to be amongst the best in the world, while the scuba-diving offers an even more spectacular insight of life beneath the waters.
